Dual Port Interface (DPI)
Dual Port Interface (DPI)
An integral component of the system, the Dual Port Interface (DPI) was designed
with reliability and economy in mind.
One DPI is used to activate two ports on on all Galaxy access control panels.
This allows for
more economic installations when all the ports on a given panel
are not being used. It also provides exceptional surge protection
to guard against damage from electrical spikes, and is easily replaced
(if need be) by simply “hot swapping” a new DPI. There is no need
to shut the system down for simple maintenance. |
Benefits
Surge Protection
Each
DPI has exceptional
surge protection to absorb electrical
spikes and intermittent voltages to
prevent damage to the CPU.
Flexible
and Cost Effective
4
relays per board (2 for each port)
allow for greater flexibility in controlling
multiple devices, making installations
more cost effective.
Easy to
Install/Replace
The
DPI may be exchanged while
controller power is applied
(Hot Swapped). |
