These are the changes and features introduced with LaunchPoint - spring of 2024.

New Features & Functions

  1. UPDATE dashboard Tiles - the Dashboard Tiles have been updated to streamline and consolidate the features and improve usability.

  2. NEW Express Add - Cardholder Quick Enrollment screen: the Express Add feature provides the essential enrollment fields needed to enroll a cardholder all on the same screen (web page).

    1. Cardholder Information - the user can add a Cardholder and the main photograph, personal data and other related settings.

    2. Add an Access Card - the user can add the access card data

    3. The user can assign a Badge Template, Access Card Data, and assign Access Location and Access Profile.

  3. UPDATE Photo Verification window - will now keep a running history of events.

  4. UPDATE Scheduled Reports - added custom report scheduler for ‘Cardholder List by Client ID’.

New Features & Functions

  1. Crisis mode - added ability to activate and reset Crisis Mode using the

    1. Crisis Mode Button that displays in the LaunchPoint webpage header

    2. Crisis Mode Command in the Diagnostics page.

  2. Hardware Diagnostics Page - provides the ability to check controller status, warm and cold start panels, send operator commands, ping a controller, get the card count, and more.

  3. User profile - added a feature to prevent an individual operator (user) from deleting cards (administrative setting).

  4. Live Events page - always opens in new browser tab:

    1. added the ability to see real-time incoming events from the system hardware and activity.

    2. added the ability to filter which event types and which devices you want to see events from.

    3. added the ability to send user commands with a single-click from the "quick action" menu for incoming events.

    4. added the ability to view video from a camera that is linked to a door/reader where an access card was presented or an incoming event was detected.

  5. Alarm Events - in Live Events window:

    1. added Alarm Event (pop up modal) to Live Events page.

    2. added support for Bosch Alarm panel alarm acknowledgment.

  6. Photo Verification window - will now keep a running history of events.

  7. Who's In Report - ability to run a who’s in report directly in LaunchPoint (proper reader configuration set up by integrator required).

  8. Elevator Floor Relay Control - configuration required.

    1. ability to see floor relay status (on/off).

    2. able to pulse floor relays.

    3. able to select multiple relays at a time.

    4. able to control floor schedules

    5. able to view video from elevator floors

    6. able to view activity report and export the report to xcel file format.

  9. Reader Properties (door/reader)

    1. added the ability to view activity report and export the report to xcel file format.

    2. added email settings for door level alerts.

  10. VMS Systems -

    1. Hanwha Video Integration support added (WiseNet Sync).

    2. Open Eye OWS integration support added.

  11. Reader Activity reports

    1. now allows for selecting all, one, or multiple readers.

    2. added request to exit to reader activity reports.

  12. Cardholder Photo Upload- added rotate option to photo upload.

  13. Scheduled Reports - added custom report scheduler for Cardholder List by Client ID.
