GALAXY UNCONDITIONAL 2 YEAR WARRANTY
100% Tested. Unconditional Warranty. Galaxy Control Systems stands behind every product it manufactures.
We thoroughly test each and every product from our assembly line to ensure that it works, both electronically and functionally. Plus, we back it up with the industry’s only Two-Year, Unconditional Warranty of its kind.
Galaxy Control Systems warrants that any product manufactured by Galaxy Control Systems shall be free of defects in material and workmanship, and perform as intended, under any condition, for a period of two years after the date of shipment. Covered conditions include, but
are not limited to: lightning, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, vandalism, and fires. Galaxy Control Systems will, under this warranty, repair or replace, free of charge, any component that proves to be malfunctioning.
GALAXY DISCOVERY3 DVR
Extended Platinum Service Agreement (3/4/5 Years in Total):
“During the term of the service agreement: (1) the original MFG warranty is extended; (2) the product qualifies for all available software & firmware updates; (3) the product may be returned to the service center at any time for cleaning, preventative maintenance, and software & firmware updating by factory personnel; and (4) the product qualifies for cross ship* replacement part service whenever it is determined that the product is field serviceable. If the product is not field serviceable, expedited repair service shall be completed upon the receipt of such product by the factory unless the advance replacement service extension has been purchased in conjunction with the service agreement."
Advance Replacement Service Extension Agreement:
“Extends the standard advance replacement service program. During the advance replacement period, Discovery3 will cross ship* replacement product when the technical support center has determined such product is not field serviceable.”
* Advance replacement service (cross ship) requires standard security deposit.
Extends advance replacement portion of the standard warranty from 1 to 2 years. This extension is automatically included with the purchase of any 3, 4, or 5 year warranty extensions.
CYPRESS: 1 Year Limited Warranty
Warranty Statement:
“All products manufactured by Cypress are warranted against defects and workmanship for one (1) calendar year from date of purchase. Suprex Technology products manufactured by Cypress are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for ten (10) calendar years from the date of purchase.”
Warranty Exceptions:
“This warranty shall not apply to abuse, misuse, accident, alteration, neglect, unusual wear and tear, unauthorized repair or installation, flood, fire, or acts of God. In no event shall Cypress be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages “
DYNALOCK Unlimited Warranty on all standard Dynalock products. Custom housings and special finished products will be replaced only if factory defective.
Warranty Statement:
“Not responsible for damage caused by incorrect voltage. Warranties do not apply to products which have been modified, damaged, abused, misused, or subjected to abnormal use or neglect. We assume no responsibility for incidental or consequential damages arising from defective products. Our sole liability will be to repair or replace defective parts which have been returned to us.”

ESSEX KEYPADS 5 Year Limited Warranty
Warranty Statement:
“The warranty originates at the time of purchase.”
Warranty Exceptions:
“The warranty does not apply if installed in violation of application codes or ordinances, or is not installed in accordance with their instructions or is misused, damaged, by accident altered or disconnected...no warranty will extend to any replacement furnished under this warranty beyond the unexpired portion of this warranty. In no event will Essex Electronic Incorporated be liable for damage to surrounding area or property of a person caused by any malfunction of the Keyless Entry Coded Access System.”

FARPOINTE
Limited Lifetime Warranty on various cards and readers. Check your Customer Service Department for specific card types and their warranty.
Warranty Statement:
“All Farpointe Data, Inc. products are warranted to the original Buyer to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the time period identified in the Warranty Period document. This time period begins from the date of shipment from Farpointe Data, Inc.”
Warranty Exceptions:
“This Limited Warranty does not apply if accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication, modification, or negligence has damaged the product.”
HID
Lifetime Warranty on various cards and readers. Check your Customer Service Department for specific card types and their warranty.
Warranty Statement:
“HID warrants each Proximity Product to be free from defects in materials and assembly in the course of normal use and service.”
Exception Statement:
“HID cannot be responsible in any way for the operation or performance of (a) any product or systems in which the product is incorporated, (b) any ancillary equipment not furnished by HID which is attached to or used in conjunction with the product, (c) the product with any ancillary equipment, and all such equipment is expressly excluded from this warranty.
The magnetic stripe on any card will be warranted for 15 months.”
Items Not Covered in Warranty:
Defects from the customer’s improper testing, operation, installation, maintenance, modification, alteration or adjustment.
Defects or damage from misuse.
Defects or damage resulting from use of the product in other than its normal and customary manner.
Defects or damage due to lightning or other electrical discharge.
Product disassembles or repaired in such a manner as to adversely affect performance or prevent adequate inspection and testing to verify any warranty claim.
Modification, abuse, or tampering with the product.
HID does not warrant the installation, maintenance or service of the product.

INGERSOLL RAND
Warranty Statement:
(a) Company’s Standard Limited Warranty(ies) relating to Product or Services are applicable to this Agreement. The limited warranty(ies) are
(i) attached to this agreement;
(ii) separately identified in the specific Product Price Book; or
(iii) separately furnished by Customer to Customer.
(b)
(i) In the event that certain Product warranties are not attached to this Agreement or separately furnished, Company warrants only to Customer that Products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of shipment of the Products. Company’s sole obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, the defective Products.
(ii) The provisions of this limited Product warranty do not apply to Products:
(A) used for the purposes for which they are not designed or intended;
(B) which have been repaired or altered without Company’s prior written consent;
(C) which have been subjected to misuse, abuse, negligence, or accident;
(D) which have been improperly stored, installed, maintained, or operated;
(E) which have been used in violation of written instructions provided by Company to Customer;
(F) which have subjected to improper temperature, humidity, or other environmental conditions;
(G) which have been affected by normal wear and tear; or
(H) which, based on Company’s examination, do not disclose to Company’s satisfaction nonconformance to the warranty.
(c)
(i) In the event that certain Service warranties are not attached to this Agreement or separately furnished, Company warrants only to Customer that the Services will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 6 months from the date of completion of the particular items of Service. Company’s sole obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or performance is either impractical or impossible, the Company will refund to customer that portion of the price paid to the Company for the defective item of Service. This warranty only applies if the company is given written notice of the defect or nonconformance by the Customer within 30 days of discovery.
(ii) The provisions of this limited Service warranty does not apply to any defects or issues with the design or performance of equipment or products not manufactured by Company, nor does it apply to any code compliance or permit requirements for the assembly, installation, erection, or construction of any goods.
(d) NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARE MADE WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
(e) The following costs and expenses are not covered by the provisions of these limited warranties: (i) labor costs for the removal and reinstallation of Products or other manufacturer’s products; (ii) shipping and freight expenses required to return Products to Company;
(iii) normal maintenance; and
(iv) economic losses. In addition, the provisions of this warranty are not applicable to anything other than defects in Company’s material (products only) or workmanship.”
LANTRONIX
1 Year Limited Warranty
Warranty Statement:
“Lantronix warrants for a period of 1 year from the date of shipment that each Lantronix Product supplied shall be free from defects in material and workmanship. During this period, if the customer experiences difficulties with a product and is unable to resolve the problem by phone with Lantronix Tech Support, a Return Material Authorization (RMA) will be issued. Following receipt of a RMA number, the customer is responsible for returning the product to Lantronix, freight prepaid. Lantronix upon verification of warranty will, at its option, repair or replace the product in question, and return it to the customer freight prepaid.”
Exception Statement:
“Lantronix shall have no obligation to make repairs or to cause replacement required through normal wear and tear of necessitated in whole or in part by catastrophe, fault or negligence of the user, improper or unauthorized use of the product, or use of the product in such a manner for which it was not designed, or by causes external to the product such as, but not limited to, power or failure of air conditioning.”

MAGICARD: 2 Year Limited Warranty
Warranty Statement:
“Two (2) years Ultra Cover plus is included FREE with all new Magicard Rio, Tango and Solo Card printers. Covers the FREE replacement of any failed print head, whatever the cause of failure reduces printer down-time by providing a loan unit until the repaired item has been returned. Standard for all Magicard customers within North America or Europe only.”
Limited Print head Warranty:
“Ultra warrants that, under normal use and service, thermal print heads will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of original purchase or for a quantity of 40,000 printed cards, whichever comes first, provided that Ultra-approved card media is utilized.”
NEDAP AVI
Warranty Statement:
“NEDAP products are covered by a one (1) year warranty against defect in materials and workmanship from date of purchase. At its discretion NEDAP will repair or replace any defective product during the warranty period.”
Warranty Exceptions:
“This warranty does not cover the repair or exchange of any product resulting from misuse, accident, modification, unsuitable physical or operating environment, improper maintenance by you, or failure caused by a product for which NEDAP is not responsible. NEDAP makes no express or implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.”
SAGEM MORPHO
Warranty Statement:
“Sagem Warrants that, under normal use and service, all hardware is warranted for 1 year while software is warranted for 90 days, and will substantially conform to the applicable hardware product specifications as published by Sagem Morpho and will be in good working order and free from defects in materials or workmanship.”
Warranty Exceptions:
“Sagem shall have no responsibility for repairing or otherwise remedying any defect of nonconformity in the condition of operation of a biometric product of its software if:
(a) modifications to Customer’s site are necessary for proper operation and Customer’s site preparation is inadequate;
(b) the biometric product is not maintained and operated under normal conditions by competent personnel;
(c) the biometric product incorporates replacement parts not authorized by Sagem Morpho; or
(d) the biometric product has been subjected to disassembly, modification, unauthorized enhancement, abuse or misuse.”
SCHLAGE WYRELESS ACCESS
1 Year Limited Warranty
Warranty Statement:
“Schlage Wyreless warrants for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase that the Schlage Wyreless product(s) shall be free from material defects in workmanship and material and shall conform to applicable Schlage Wyreless specifications.”
Warranty Exceptions:
“The warranties contained herein shall not apply to any repairs, corrections, or replacements caused by: (a) physical abuse of the product(s) or its components;
(b) acts of vandalism by any persons;
(c) alterations, modifications, additions, or repairs make during the applicable warranty period by anyone other than Schlage Wyreless, its employees, agents or subcontractors;
(d) accidents or damage resulting from fire, water, wind, hail, lightning, electrical surge or failure, earthquake, theft or similar causes not caused or contributed to by the negligence of Schlage Wyreless, its employees, agents or subcontractors; or
(e) damage to any such component by purchaser or its employees, customers or agents."
TOSHIBA
Warranty Statement:
“Network Video Cameras for Security carry a 2 year part and labor warranty”
Product Return Requirements: "Product returned for inspection due to reported initial failure must be returned in the original factory carton with original packing materials, accessories and manuals. In the event that product is returned without original factory carton box, accessories and manuals, a fee for missing manuals and/or accessories may be applied against the security deposit."
NOTE: "return product must be shipped freight prepaid. Product will be returned freight paid in the same manner in which it was received."
XCEEDID
Warranty Statement:
“XceedID warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship. Remedy to the Buyer will be defined as repair to defective parts or credit or reimbursement for the defective product in an amount not to exceed the purchase price. XceedID reserves the right to replace any product under warranty with new or remanufactured product. XceedID will not be responsible for back charges, labor costs of removal or re-installation of said products. The foregoing limited warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, whether oral, written, implied or statutory.
XF1100: Limited Lifetime as stated herein.
XF2110: Reader Keypad warranty is 5 years from original purchase date.”
Warranty Exceptions:
“Items not included in XceedID’s warranty are conditions in which XceedID has no control, including: catastrophe, improper installation or maintenance, discharge or lightning strike, improper storage or use outside its intended and normal manner.“
